Prostavasin® (peripheral arterial occlusive disease)

Prostavasin® (alprostadil) is indicated for the

• treatment of peripheral arterial occlusive disease with limited walking distance, particulary when other therapies (e.g. physiotherapy, reconstructive interventions, thrombolysis) are not reasonable therapeutic alternatives or have not been successful
• treatment of stage III and stage IV chronic occlusive disease (Fontaine's classification)

Prostavasin® may be prescribed for use in adults and elderly.
